Human Remains in Sydney Identified

Police say human remains discovered in Sydney have been identified as a 62-year-old man reported missing last November. The remains were discovered April 15th by people walking in a wooded area off Ash Street. Cape Breton Regional Police have confirmed they belong to 62-year-old Murdock Daniel McCharles who hadn’t been seen since leaving his home on Bentinck Street on November 25th. Police have not released a cause of death but say an autopsy determined McCharles was not the victim of foul play.
