A fire in Saint John on Friday has left a family of four homeless. Smoke from the second floor of the two storey residence was reported shortly before 3:30pm. No one was injured but the family did lose a pet to the blaze. The Red Cross is providing assistance to the couple and their two teenaged children. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
