Tantallon trial

The drug-trafficking trial of a Tantallon doctor has been adjourned until the end of the week. Dr. Sarah Dawn Jones is charged with prescribing 50,000 pills to one patient.

Her lawyer argued, as the trial opened; that some evidence should be thrown out.  He feels that some information Jones gave to an investigation by the College of Physicians and Surgeons should be excluded because it was self-incriminating and some other evidence gained through that investigation should be excluded as well.

The judge reserved decision until Friday.
