The province is cutting the small-business income tax rate as of April 1st. It’ll go to 3% after the third cut in three years, after previous ones have taken it down from 4.5%. The Small Business Investor Tax Credit was also increased from 30% to 50% for investments made after April 1st 2015, and eligibility was expanded to include community economic development funds.
