Second Case of Measles Confirmed in Digby

Public Health officials in Nova Scotia are contacting people in the Digby area after the a second confirmed case of travel related measles. Officials say the case is linked to a case of the measles confirmed last week. Public Health says people may have been exposed at the Dockside Restaurant in Digby on March 17th; the Roof Hound Brewing Company on March 17th and 18th; or the Sunset Pub on March 17th. Those exposed could develop symptoms anytime between now and April 11th. Symptoms include fever, white spots in the mouth or throat and a blotchy red rash on the face or body.
