Cole Harbour Place was locked down on Saturday afternoon after police received a weapons complaint. Halifax Police say they received a report of a group of young people entering the recreation facility with a handgun. Police placed the building on lockdown while they searched the facility with the assistance of a K-9 unit. A weapon was found but police say it turned out to be an air-gun. There’s no word yet on any charges but police say the incident is still under investigation.
