The Red Cross is providing assistance to a Family of Six who temporarily lost their home in New Germany to a fire earlier this week. The fire was confined to the kitchen but the house suffered extensive smoke and water damage. A four-year-old boy suffered minor burns to his hand and arm in the fire and was taken to the IWK for treatment – he has since been released.
