A 16-year-old from Westphal was taken into custody on Friday after reports of a youth carrying a baseball bat and looking in parked vehicles in Cole Harbour. RCMP located the boy on Havelock Crescent and the suspect fled. He was taken into custody after a brief foot chase and was found to be in possession marijuana, a firearm and numerous stolen items.
