Canso Causeway concerns

Cycling advocates say that fatal accident at the Canso Causeway shows infrastructure improvements are needed to keep riders safe.

A 57 year old man died Saturday when he was hit by a truck on Highway 104.  The Halifax Cycling Coalition says the accident is a tragic reminder that road shoulders are important.  It says this province can look to places like Quebec for improved cyclist safety.

Bible Hill stunting charges

A Dartmouth woman has lost her licence for a week and her car was impounded after she was caught speeding at 176 kilometres per hour on Highway 104 in the Bible Hill area.

The RCMP pulled her car over Saturday with four passengers in it.  The 47 year old woman was charged with stunting.
