Budget 2017-18 projects a $25.9 million surplus. Revenue and expenses are both estimated to increase by 3.1%. The basic personal exemption is going up to $3000 for incomes up to $75,000, and the small-business tax threshold is up to $500,000 from $350,000. RCMP warn of respectful driving as warm weather brings more vehicles out
With warmer temperatures seeing more drivers on the road, Nova Scotia RCMP are encouraging you to be respectful. They always get more calls about speeding, squealing tires and revving of the engine at this time of year. They also point out a general lack of signal use.
