A new McNeil government would have a new $8 million fund to revitalize tourism. Tourism Nova Scotia would administer it, and it would go toward maintaining and enhancing existing attractions. The effort would create new jobs.

Glace Bay murder trial
The date has been set for the first degree murder trial of 49 year old Raymond Glenn Farrow.
The Glace Bay man is charged with killing 82 year old Harold (Buster) Slaunwhite in his Dominion home in September 2006.
Farrow waived his right in court yesterday to a preliminary hearing and the judge set a trial date for July 5th.
