Province warns of potential toxic algal blooms

The province is warning you to be aware of algal blooms in various bodies of water.  They usually happen in the summer and fall, and can produce toxins that cause skin, eye and throat irritation.  Not all blooms are harmful, but if you see discoloured water and other signs don’t go in.  You can learn more at gnb.ca/algae.
