Royal LePage says New Brunswick is the cheapest spot in Canada to own a cottage. It’s latest property sales report says the average for one here is $179,500. The most expensive cottages were in Alberta, with an average price of over $800,000.

1100 calls for advanced-care paramedic pilot program
The provincial pilot program for advanced-care paramedics has seen 1100 calls in Moncton, Saint John and Bathurst so far. It was launched in April, with 16 people hired. Advanced-care medics can treat people with 29 different drugs and do other things, while primary-care ones can treat with 10 drugs in the field.
