38 per cent of New Brunswickers believe they’ve been approached with a fraudulent investment opportunity in the past year.
Financial and Consumer Services Commission data has a four percentage point increase on last year.
The figures come as the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre says New Brunswickers have been scammed out of almost $1 million this year.
The province is releasing doctors salaries five years after the auditor general recommended it.
The figures on what doctors were paid last year show 24 physicians making over $1 million.
The top doc, Stewart MacMillan; a radiologist at the Miramichi Hospital, raked in just over $1.5 million.
The Health department points out these are gross earnings and do not take into account expenses such as staff salaries or rent.
