The city requires one that you can apply for, and you could get fined if you don’t get it. Elsewhere locally you’ll be fine if you adhere to guidelines: no licence necessary in Quispamsis, Rothesay or Grand Bay-Westfield.

Nine arrested in Moncton prostitution sting
Nine men have been arrested in a downtown Moncton prostitution sting. Police were in the area of Dufferin and St. George Streets yesterday, taking in johns ranging from 19- to 74-years-old. They’re from Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview, Shediac, Hillsborough, Midgic and Sussex, and all due in court in August.
