Support for the New Brunswick Liberals is down a bit this quarter. Corporate Research Associates says 51% of decided voters support the party, down from 53% in November. Progressive Conservative support is unchanged at 30%, while the NDP is up to 12% from 7%. The Green Party is down to 5% from 9%, and the People’s Alliance is unchanged at 2%.

Province not doing enough to increase nurse practitioner roles: NANB
The Nurses Association of New Brunswick is concerned about why the province hasn’t asked nurse practitioners to fill primary-care provider vacancies. Executive Director Laurie Janes says they’ve seen “little to no commitment” to increasing their role in the provincial healthcare system. Many nurse practitioners would do the jobs to stay and maintain registration in New Brunswick.
