Formula for public financing of political parties to be amended to encourage female candidates

Pot shops raided again

Police raided pot shops in the city again yesterday.

They went to marijuanna dispensaries on Simpson Drive, Chesley Drive, Rothesay Avenue and Germain Street. They were the same shops that were hit in January when police raided six shops and charged 12 people.

Police spokesman Sargent Charles Breen issued a news release saying the raids resulted in a number of arrests and a quantity of marijuana products were seized.
