A Saint John man got time served and a year-long suspension of his licence for hitting a pedestrian with his SUV. 69-year-old Gene Williams admitted to the February 23rd incident, of which a video went viral on social media. The victim suffered a dislocated shoulder.

Three ice jams being watched by NB EMO
EMO is keeping an eye on three ice jams, but says there’s no major threat of flooding so far. They’re in the Tobique River near Arthurette, Saint John River near Hartland and Southwest Miramichi River near Doaktown.
