South Market Street will be closed for three hours starting at 5:30 today for window delivery. They’re for the City Market renovations, and work to replace the frames and glass for each starts on Monday on the market’s south side.

Property tax assessments to be frozen in 2018
Property tax assessments are being frozen next year. With Auditor General Kim MacPherson’s review expected too late to make changes, the province says the freeze is to ensure fairness and predictability for property owners and local governments. An independent agency will also be created to handle assessments going forward.
