A public meeting is being held tonight about safety in downtown Kentville. It’ll cover snow and ice clearing, concrete and asphalt maintenance, lighting, traffic management, policing and more. Your input is sought, with the meeting at 6:00 in the Calkin Building.

Impaired driving sentence
An Amherst man has been sentenced for impaired driving. 36-year-old Stephen Norman John Lushman was given an 18-month driving ban and $1950 fine. He pleaded guilty to the May 4th incident.
