Four Shelburne County projects are getting federal funding. A total of $184,157 will go towards work at the Shelburne County Arena, Parr Street Park, the historic mill building and Town Dock area, and the River Hills Sport and Recreation Society clubhouse, as well as the River Hills Golf and Country Club.

Indian Brook man attacked in home invasion
RCMP are investigating after an Indian Brook man was attacked in a home invasion. Two men went in just before 1 yesterday morning, with one hitting the resident in the head with a cribbage board. The victim was treated in hospital, and RCMP are looking for that suspect.
