The province will introduce a program to provide universal access to Mifegymiso, commonly referred to as the abortion pill. It became available in January for use in Canada, and the Department of Health will soon allow any woman with a valid Medicare card to be eligible for the pill free of charge.

Campbell to end run as Mount A president/vice-chancellor after term wraps up
Dr. Robert Campbell won’t go for a third term as Mount Allison University president. The Order of Canada recipient has served in the position since 2006. Recruitment will go over the summer and his successor will start in July 2018.
