The province is investing another $56 million in early childhood and education initiatives. This fiscal year will include $8.3 million for class composition, including 250 more teachers over the next two years. Another $3.8 million for the Daycare Assistance Program is also among funding.

Book launch for Susan Butler’s For the Love of It
A book launch is being held this month for Susan Butler’s For the Love of It. It’s about the history of the Miramichi Folksong Festival and her 35 years as volunteer director. The event is Thursday the 25th at 7pm at the Beaverbrook Kin Centre. A reception will follow.
