The Burnt Church community is getting knowledge and power to prevent further fentanyl overdoses and other tragedies.
Recently, their Wellness Centre had an information session regarding that.
People learned how to properly use a narcan kit to help save someone’s life from an overdose.
Miramichi police are reminding drivers that on Sunday June 25th, the Miramichi Bridge will be closed for ten minutes from Hennessey Street behind the Miramichi Mall to the lights at Nelson Street between 8am to 8:10am due to the Rock ‘n Run marathons and races.
Officers will be watching traffic and warn you to be extra cautious of runners and volunteers.
