A teen was rushed to hospital from Avon View High School in Windsor yesterday after he was trapped under the front end of a vehicle.
The 17 year old boy had serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital in Halfax.
The driver of the vehicle involved was arrested at the scene but there’s no word on charges.
The measles outbreak continues to spreads in the province.
Health officials say there are now 13 cases, including health-care workers who have caught the highly contagious disease.
Deputy chief medical officer of health Dr. Gaynor Watson-Creed says measures have been put in place to prevent the spread of it at their workplaces. All of those cases involve people who have been in the same location as someone who was infected with measles.
