Auditor General Michael Pickup has been appointed to a three-year term on the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board. It sets Canadian auditing standards, with Pickup starting his appointment as of last Saturday.

NS Film and TV Production Incentive Fund growing for 2017-2018
The budget for the Nova Scotia Film and Television Production Incentive Fund will increase in 2017-18. $6.9 million will be added to its $10 million budget. 50 productions have been announced under the fund so far, representing almost $24 million in commitments and $83 million in spending in Nova Scotia.
