RCMP are investigating after a suspicious package was mailed to a home in Wolfville yesterday. Nearby residents were evacuated as it was checked out, and the package did contain harmful materials. It was disposed of safely and no one was hurt.

Province debuts program specifically for gravel roads
The province has introduced its first dedicated program for repairs and reconstruction on gravel roads. $10 million annually will be set aside for the Gravel Road Capital Program, which will look after Nova Scotia’s 8400 km’s worth.
