One Million dollars in federal funding has been announced for a Hants county Fish Farm. The money will go towards a 9-million-dollar expansion of the Sustainable Blue site in Centre Burlington. The company, Sustainable Fish Farming Limited, plans to produce up to 500 metric tonnes of Atlantic Salmon at it’s land based facility.

Water Disruption in West Hants
Some Residents in West Hants will be without water tomorrow morning. Water around Panuke Road will be shut off at 8am Monday for repair work on Panuke Road Booster Station. The Municipality also say due to pump issues at the booster Station residents will continue to experience fluctuations in water pressure until the repair work is completed.
