At least four people have been displaced by a Sunday afternoon fire in Truro. A six-unit building suffered damage, with the Red Cross helping out three adults. At least one other person has made their own arrangements. No one was hurt.

Rally for teachers held on two-month anniversary of work-to-rule
Hundreds went out locally for yesterday’s rally in support of teachers. It was held at Grand Parade ahead of Wednesday’s vote on the latest tentative contract. Two previous agreements have been rejected, and work-to-rule has been going on for two months.
