Four charged in 2016 thefts of truck, lobster

Four people have been charged in thefts of a truck and lobster last year.  The transport was stolen on Canada Day from Eco-Technologies in Caraquet, then used to steal a fridge of lobster from LeBreton and Sons Fisheries in Grand-Anse.  40-year-old Ghislain Leblanc of Cap-Bateau; and 21-year-old Keven Facchino-Lemay, 52-year-old Dyno Facchino and 42-year-old Claude Robert of Quebec face charges.

Amendments to Family Services Act proposed

The province is proposing amendments to the Family Services Act.  They would emphasize continuing relationships with grandparents and other important family members. The courts, when considering whether to grant an order for access, would also consider the willingness of the parent or guardian to facilitate it.  The necessity of the order would also factor in.
