Police seized a pair of DVD’s from the Saint John Free Public Library after a complaint that they contained child pornography and sexually explicit content. The complaint was made by Donald Dobbin, a member of Saint John Street Missions, a group that advocates for the poor and against child exploitation. The two films in question were ‘Starlet’ which is a hollywood production about the Adult Film industry; and Nymphomaniac – a double feature released in 2013 staring Shia LeBeuf. Saint John Police are reviewing the films to determine if they involve child pornography.

Worker Injured at Pulp Mill in Western New Brunswick
A worker at a pulp mill west of Fredericton was taken to hospital on Saturday morning after receiving an electric shock while on the job. The Daily Gleaner is reporting the man was conscious and walking before being taken from the A V Nackawic Pulp Mill to hospital by ambulance. The company says workplace health and safety have been notified and they are investigating the incident.
