Two men have been arrested in connection with fentanyl in Esgenoôpetitj. 35-year-old Jesse Joe of Fredericton is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and breach of probation. He’s due back in court on Tuesday, while a 60-year-old Esgenoôpetitj man is due at a later date.

Moncton Pay for Plasma Clinic Seeking Donors
An Ontario company that pays people for their blood plasma is set to begin recruiting donors in New Brunswick. The C-E-O of Canadian Plasma Resources says Health Canada has approved the company’s new clinic in Moncton. However, Barzin Bahardoust says inspectors must see the centre in operation before a licence can be granted.
