New Brunswick will have Family Day starting next year.
The provincial government has announced the paid public holiday for the third Monday in February.
Most of the country already has Family Day or an equivalent holiday for that day, and New Brunswick will also now hit the national average of eight paid public holidays a year.
Dalhousie town council has amended motions regarding the lagoon and Brunswick Street.
They want to apply to the Municipal Capital Borrowing Board for money for those projects.
The Brunswick Street project would finish the last third of a three-phase job between Victoria and Grey.
That involves major underground infrastructure replacement.
Major upgrades are planned for the sewage lagoon.
