New Brunswick has been given another A+ credit rating. Global agency Standard and Poor’s highlighted modest budgetary improvements, a predictable and well-managed institutional framework, and slow but positive economic growth. It’s the third year in a row that New Brunswick got an A+.

RRSC tourism strategy forum postponed until fall
The tourism forum set for last Saturday had to be cancelled due to lack of attendees. The Restigouche Regional Service Commission planned it to help create a local strategy, but chair and Atholville Mayor Michel Soucy told the Tribune people ended up being too busy. The forum was postponed until October.
