The Vitalité Health Network says they have exceeded Sodexo’s proposed savings by $1.7 million in the 2016-2017 fiscal year.
The savings come after the province proposed privatization of the food and environmental services at the network’s 15 hospitals, according to The Northern Light.
49 year old Denis Clifford Dugas of Campbellton was fined 26 hundred dollars for dangerous driving and has been banned from driving for 3 years.
That’s due to an incident on the JC Van Horne Bridge in March of 2015.
His minivan crossed the centre line, and slammed into a car being driven by Lori Fitzgerald; a teacher from the Quebec side.
Fitzgerald and her daughter were both hurt and taken to the Campbellton Regional Hospital.
Her daughter’s spleen was torn and she was airlifted to the IWK Hospital in Halifax.
