An Amherst man has been given a $100 fine and absolute discharge for threatening to cause bodily harm. 32-year-old Bradley Robert Joseph Landry admitted to the July 2014 incident.

2017 Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Excellence in Nova Scotia Wines
Submissions are now being taken for the 2017 Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Excellence in Nova Scotia Wines. The Winery Association of Nova Scotia and Taste of Nova Scotia will ask member wineries to submit up to three grape wines for judging. Three winning wineries will be awarded in July.
