A woman remains in critical condition after a highway crash Thursday in Nova Scotia claimed the life of the male driver. R-C-M-P say the pair were in a vehicle that veered off a highway and hit a tree. The crash happened on Highway 224 near Pine Grove, in Colchester County. Both the driver and passenger were taken to Colchester Regional Hospital, where the driver was pronounced dead.

Stunting Charge on Highway 103
A man was caught stunting on the 103 Friday morning. The 27-year-old was stopped just before noon in Martin’s River, after being clocked doing 164 km/h in a 100 km/h zone. He got a seven-day suspended licence, his vehicle seized and a $2422.50 fine.
