A woman remains in critical condition after a highway crash Thursday in Nova Scotia claimed the life of the male driver. R-C-M-P say the pair were in a vehicle that veered off a highway and hit a tree. The crash happened on Highway 224 near Pine Grove, in Colchester County. Both the driver and passenger were taken to Colchester Regional Hospital, where the driver was pronounced dead.
