2.9-Million-Dollar Contract Signed to Build New Health Clinic in Shelburne

The province has awarded a contract worth nearly 2.9 million-dollars to build a new medical clinic in the town of Shelburne. The town’s previous medical clinic closed seven years ago for renovations but the work was never done and the clinic never reopened. Premier Stephen McNeil promised a tender would be issued for a new clinic in Shelburne just prior to the provincial election. A contract has now been signed with Rikjak Construction, of Lunenburg County, to build the new facility at a cost just shy of 2.9-million-dollars.
