Heather Beach is having a busy season but lifeguards say they have had no troubles with beachgoers.
One lifeguard added that people are really paying attention to their safety messages.
Upcoming special events include a sandcastle building day on July 30 and a sun safety and beach awareness day on August 12, both with prizes for kids.
