Doug MacInnes, a Colchester County councillor; resigned because of alleged comments from other councillors.
He said he can’t be associated with what he calls racism.
The Truro Daily News says the other councillors are Tom Taggart and Lloyd Gibbs, who were in a three-way chat in a restaurant in which comments were allegedly made against Muslims.
Gibbs said he was speaking out against Sharia “law.”
The third man, B.J. Tan; who immigrated from Malaysia and used to live under Sharia, said his comments were about certain sections of the Koran that promote killing, beheadings; and other brutality by ISIS members.
