Lawyers are holding a news conference in Halifax on Monday to announce new findings in the death of a teenager who died while fleeing police in 1990.
The firm representing the family of 17-year-old Clayton Miller is describing the findings as a major development in his death.
An inquest and R-C-M-P investigation both cleared police of any wrongdoing and two investigations concluded Miller was drunk when he fell into a stream in New Waterford while running from police after they raided a nearby bush party.
But the teen’s family has long called for the investigation to be reopened _ saying they believe key information was withheld from the public.
