The CAT ferry will be running slower and not as often for a little while because of engine problems.
Bay Ferries says one of its four engines has been shut down which means slower runs between Yarmouth and Portland…about half an hour slower. It’ll be putting out a revised sailing schedule shortly…there’ll be five round trips a week instead of six.
Experts from the engines manufacturer, MTU, are investigating the failure.
