Engine troubles with the CAT Ferry has forced the cancellation of the service today between Yarmouth and Portland, Maine. Bay Ferries Ltd says they became aware of a problem with one of the Cat’s four engines before the weekend but decided to go ahead with Saturday’s crossings before taking the vessel out of service today. The company says longer transit times and further cancellations are possible. Customers that have already booked trips are being contacted directly by Bay Ferries.
