The province is releasing doctors salaries five years after the auditor general recommended it, according to the CBC.
The figures on what doctors were paid last year show 24 physicians making over $1 million.
The top doc, Stewart MacMillan; a radiologist at the Miramichi Hospital, raked in just over $1.5 million.
The Health department points out these are gross earnings and do not take into account expenses such as staff salaries or rent.
