Atlantic Canada’s only accessible ball field, the Field of Dreams, officially opened today at the CN Sportplex in Moncton. It includes artificial turf, accessible dugouts and expanded bleachers. The Field of Dreams program, city, and province each put money in for the project, with the former also getting donations from the President’s Choice Children’s Charity and Jays Care Foundation. Atlantic Superstore and Pita Pit donated too.
