The trial date has been set for the owner of a waste transfer station in connection with that dump fire on North River Road in March of last year.
Shaffer Enterprises, owned by Derrick and Barbara Shaffer, will go to trial in January and February after pleading not guilty to a total of 20 charges.
Kentville Fire Chief Ryan MacEachern told the King’s County Register after the fire that the apparent cause was spontaneous combustion.
