Kentville, New Minas; and Port Williams PTSD event

On July 7 to 9 in Kentville, New Minas; and Port Williams, the Kings County Fallen Heroes Softball Tournament will raise money for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Teams will play three games each in round-robin style, with single-elimination playoffs on Sunday, July 9.

There will be a “visible vault” at the Kentville Memorial Park on July 8, it will be unlocked with a six-digit combination.

200 tickets will be sold to guess the six-digit code.

The winner will receive $50,000 from sponsor Golding and Associates Limited.

$12,500 of the prize must be spent with that firm, and the winner gets to decide what to do with the remaining $37,500 in cash.
