The Miramichi SPCA is in a desperate situation as donations to the shelter have reduced to a trickle.
They’re asking for cash donations to cover the veterinary bills piling up at the centre, which is putting the biggest strain on the SPCA; according to The Leader.
Monthly vet bills have jumped from $2,000 to $4,000 a month.
