Three candidates asked for recounts in their ridings before the deadline to file yesterday.
The NDP’s Denise Peterson-Rafuse wants a recount in Chester-St. Margaret’s which she lost to Liberal Hugh MacKay by 90 votes. P-C candidate Dan McNaughton was defeated by Liberal Bill Horne in Waverley-Fall River-Beaverbank by 66 votes. Another Conservative Rob Wolf wants a recount in Guysborough-Eastern Shore-Tracadie, which was won by Liberal Lloyd Hines by 71 votes.
